CNC Machine Operators oversee the operation of computer numeric controlled machines, responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to produce precision parts, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Load and unload materials into the machine
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machines
  • Inspect finished products and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality
  • Interpret technical blueprints and ensure the machine is producing the correct product
  • Perform basic programming tasks such as entering commands into the machine
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with the machine or product

Requirements:

  • CNC machine operation experience and knowledge of CNC programming
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished products
  • Physical dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods of time while operating machinery
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on CNC machines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations related to CNC machine operation.
