Our company is looking for a Senior Planner & Scheduler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Logic Analysis;
  • Everyday scheduling and maintenance;
  • Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits;
  • Variance analysis;
  • In depth what-if scenario analysis;
  • Perform other duties as requested including cost control activities;
  • Resource loading;
  • Schedule trending and impacts.

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years or more of a member of the Senior Project Controls Team in engineering and procurement environments;
  • Quality focused with strong attention to detail while being able to maintain a “whole project” perspective;
  • Bachelor or Graduate degree in a related field;
  • Strong MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting;
  • Field experience and construction planning is an asset;
  • Proficient with P6 Primavera Project Management (MS Project Experience is optional, but will be considered);
  • Background in Heavy Oil / SAGD projects would be preferred, but not essential;
  • Knowledge of engineering deliverable relationships and execution sequencing is required;
  • Strong communication and influencing skills both verbal and written.
