Senior Planner & Scheduler Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Planner & Scheduler to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Logic Analysis;
- Everyday scheduling and maintenance;
- Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits;
- Variance analysis;
- In depth what-if scenario analysis;
- Perform other duties as requested including cost control activities;
- Resource loading;
- Schedule trending and impacts.
Requirements:
- Five (5) years or more of a member of the Senior Project Controls Team in engineering and procurement environments;
- Quality focused with strong attention to detail while being able to maintain a “whole project” perspective;
- Bachelor or Graduate degree in a related field;
- Strong MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting;
- Field experience and construction planning is an asset;
- Proficient with P6 Primavera Project Management (MS Project Experience is optional, but will be considered);
- Background in Heavy Oil / SAGD projects would be preferred, but not essential;
- Knowledge of engineering deliverable relationships and execution sequencing is required;
- Strong communication and influencing skills both verbal and written.
