Personal Assistant – Part-time Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Personal Assistant – Part-time to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping;
- Dog walking and coordination with paid dog-walker on some days;
- Act as an extension of the employer to perform a blend of administrative and hands-on duties;
- Travel arrangements – sometimes through a travel agent, sometimes directly with the airlines. Includes management of airline points and programs;
- Arranging and coordinating house maintenance;
- Living in the residence – either on a full-time basis or as-needed when traveling (latter preferred);
- Coordinating work events – often at our personal residence;
- Other duties as needed;
- Handling some work details such as light research from home office, coordination with various key contacts at the office;
- Chauffeuring for evening events and trips;
- Feeding and coordinating vet visits;
- Running errands;
- Restaurant and other bookings;
- Calendar management – between work calendar on Microsoft Teams and Personal calendars on Google.
Requirements:
- Smoke-free environment;
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and a good driving record;
- Must have a car in good condition;
- Must have a current legal working status in Canada;
- Proficient with MS Office Suite;
- Respect and protect the right to privacy of the household by keeping all information strictly confidential;
- Personable, energetic, and fun to work with;
- Flexibility to handle last-minute changes;
- Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters;
- Always keep a professional demeanor and stay discreet;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Can work under minimal direction;
- Minimum of two (2) years similar work experience;
- Proactive to take the initiative to ask, learn, and make things happen;
- Flexibility in the working hours and prepared to work outside of normal business hours according to the employer’s needs.
