Our company is looking for a Front Desk Agent – Part Time to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performing additional duties as assigned;
- Resolving any issues with tact and professional manners;
- Providing information about local offerings;
- Creating a smooth and easy experience for guests so they can get the most out of their stay;
- Processing the transaction for guests accurately;
- Anticipating and delivering on our guests’ needs.
Requirements:
- Proficient working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, and experience with Opera;
- Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner;
- Previous experience in a hotel is considered an asset;
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a hotel environment, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Legal Work Status: Must already possess necessary documentation to work legally in Canada;
- High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent;
- Proven ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions in a personable and self-confident manner;
- Fluent English language skills; both written and verbal.
