Our company is looking for a Front Desk Agent – Part Time to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing additional duties as assigned;
  • Resolving any issues with tact and professional manners;
  • Providing information about local offerings;
  • Creating a smooth and easy experience for guests so they can get the most out of their stay;
  • Processing the transaction for guests accurately;
  • Anticipating and delivering on our guests’ needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficient working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, and experience with Opera;
  • Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner;
  • Previous experience in a hotel is considered an asset;
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a hotel environment, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Legal Work Status: Must already possess necessary documentation to work legally in Canada;
  • High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent;
  • Proven ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions in a personable and self-confident manner;
  • Fluent English language skills; both written and verbal.
