Front Desk Agents serve as the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, check-ins, and customer service inquiries. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities
- Check-in guests by verifying their reservation, processing their payment, and issuing room keys
- Assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their rooms, if necessary
- Answer telephone calls, book reservations, and provide information about the hotel and its services
- Respond to guest complaints and ensure that they are resolved promptly and to the guest's satisfaction
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to provide guests with exceptional service and ensure that their stay is enjoyable
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and other relevant information using the hotel's computer system
- Perform other duties as assigned by the hotel management
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems
- Professional and polished appearance, with a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk position is preferred
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Fluency in a second language is a plus
