Our company is looking for a Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles bank deposits and reconciliations;
  • Monitors and updates budgets;
  • Closes fiscal year-end;
  • Organizes meetings for committees, board directors and others:Drafts the agenda;
  • Convenes meetings, coordinates and plans logistics;
  • Excellent computer skills with a high proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Prepares the necessary documentation;
  • Handles accounts receivables (billing, bill collection and bill payment follow-ups);
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime;
  • Manages investments (monitors, buys and sells);
  • Prepares and performs financial audits with external auditors;
  • Monitors quorum;
  • Attends meetings and drafts the minutes (in English);
  • Handles accounts payables (posts, approves and pays bills).

Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English;
  • College or university degree in business administration, preferably in Accounting or a relevant field or other training and/or relevant experience;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience;
  • Mentally agileOrganized and thorough;
  • Knowledge of SAGE50 software (Simply Accounting);
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
