Our company is looking for a photographer / videographer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in different location and in different circumstances to get the perfect content;
  • Product Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process;
  • Create permanent visual images or video assets for an exceptionally wide range of creative, technical and documentary purposes;
  • Post daily photos on Medeba’s Social Media platforms;
  • Continuously discover and implement new shooting technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and footage quality;
  • Liaise with other professionals, including graphic designers, writers, gallery managers, picture researchers, commissioning editors and art directors;
  • Extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software;
  • Produce a variety of content types in the form of high quality photos, videos, stop-motion, Gifs, cinemagraphs, boomerangs;
  • Coordinate all the elements of a photoshoot – storyboard, concept brief, models, actors, venue, and props;
  • Capture and create visual images of camp and present them in various forms of media for creative and documentary purposes;
  • Creative decisions and execution are reflection and elaboration of the Brand vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in storytelling in the visual medium;
  • An individual who cares deeply about creating a unique brand experience;
  • Demonstrable video shooting ability with a strong portfolio;
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity and the essence of brand representation;
  • Fluent in French and English;
  • Well versed in digital communication platforms including SharePoint, Websites, and Social media platforms;
  • Solid experience with digital technology and post-edit software packages (adobe Photoshop., adobe Premiere, and/or After Effects);
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Project, Agile Software and MS Visio or similar product for process flow;
  • Creativity isn’t limited to degrees but an educational background in film production, cinematography or a relevant field is an asset;
  • Motion graphic and 3D animation skill set is an asset;
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks across multiple projects with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Organized and disciplined with a track record of completing tasks on-time and to a high standard;
  • Excellent written, oral, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
