Financial Operations Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the use of raw materials for the plant’s milk payments;
- Develop and track KPIs;
- Take part in developing the plant’s IT systems and take responsibility for the application of internal controls at the plant;
- Establish cost prices for the plant, in collaboration with the costing team;
- Supervise and coordinate the work of one employee under his/her direction;
- Prepare budget forecasts based on variance analysis and trend analysis, make recommendations;
- Perform other tasks and projects, as needed;
- Ensure that the organization’s current policies and procedures related to internal control are followed at the plant;
- Serve as an active member of the plant’s Management Committee, advise and train the plant’s management and employees in cost management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting or Finance, and a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA);
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word);
- Available to travel occasionally to the various sites;
- Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English);
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience, ideally in the manufacturing sector and/or in cost accounting;
- Knowledge of Oracle (an asset).
