Our company is looking for a AVP Capital, Corporate Actuarial to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead and develop a high performing team;
- Leadership in industry capital working groups (CIA, CLHIA) and advocacy;
- Lead the evolvement of key capital management reporting tools and analyses for the upcoming regulatory changes, including IFRS17 and OSFI changes;
- Train and communicate with all levels of the organization on LICAT and related capital;
- Build and leverage relationships with key partners in Business Groups, Global ALM, Investor Relations, Treasury, Corporate Risk and Finance.
Requirements:
- Qualified FCIA or FSA;
- Track record of deriving insights and delivering results;
- Strong commitment to both timelines and quality of deliverables;
- Track record of leading under change management;
- Strong people and partnership skills, essential in building and managing relationships;
- Effective communication skills.
