Supply Planner NPD Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Supply Planner NPD to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Mitigation planning and analysis to ensure on-time retailer product launch;
- Provide weekly report out of the supply plan for the executive team;
- Create purchase requests to support supply plan, manage purchase orders, and execution of mitigation plans;
- Create monthly and weekly NPD supply plan including purchasing, production tracking and retailer launch status;
- High level capacity planning analysis and recommendations;
- Available for travel at least once a month to our Needham office;
- Extensive collaboration with cross functional teams throughout new product development cycle to drive successful NPD launch.
Requirements:
- Ability to set priorities and adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment;
- Capacity to learn and navigate through new applications quickly and efficiently;
- Ability to effectively communicate and escalate any issues requiring attention and corrective actions;
- Highly collaborative with the ability to engage and lead discussions in meetings/team settings;
- Effective organizational skills to manage diverse workload portfolio and changes;
- Structured and consistent in order to sustain the weekly NPD and order management process;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail;
- Fluent in English and French written and oral;
- Relentless in solving and closing out supply issues to support NPD requirements and customer launches and requirements;
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.
