Sr. Product Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our UI designers to get their input and turn ideas into mock-ups;
- Monitoring the impact of your changes through data and/or community/member support;
- Understanding overall product strategy to ensure your work contributes to business objectives;
- Managing product features and enhancements through development, answering developer’s questions and navigating through issues that arise;
- Analyzing data to discover problems, spot opportunities, and measure success;
- Defining specs for new features and product enhancements that solve problems and keep us moving towards our vision;
- Having your finger on the pulse of our members, brand partners, and internal needs;
- Signing off on a completed project when you’re confident it’s release-ready;
- Being all-over the data – including internal metrics, customer support reports, and Google Analytics;
- Using the data be able to provide an ROI analysis on large and small features;
- Checking in with various teams to ensure your work aligns with other areas of the organization.
Requirements:
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written;
- 3-5 years of experience in digital product management a must;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A passion for all things tech (UX, Design, Marketing, Development);
- Proven experience in shipping great products from scratch;
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making;
- Experience with agile scrum development and lean startup principles.
