Our company is looking for a Project Superintendent & Carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assures the planning process is followed;
  • Construction Project PlanningParticipates in establishing goals & objectives for field operations of Longboard Construction;
  • Oversees planning and use of company resources (equipment and materials);
  • Coordinates and Plans with the Project Manager primarily and the Client when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and minimum 5 years supervision experience;
  • College Education a minimum requirement for carpentry; And;
  • Experience in the commercial construction industry a requirement;
  • Demonstrated ability in carpentry with minimum of 10 years experience with certification;
  • Must hold red seal Carpenter ticket or equivalent certification;
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities;
  • Must be able to read and understand construction drawings, addenda, change notices;
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation);
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, and the Mac operating system.
