Project Superintendent & Carpenter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Superintendent & Carpenter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assures the planning process is followed;
- Construction Project PlanningParticipates in establishing goals & objectives for field operations of Longboard Construction;
- Oversees planning and use of company resources (equipment and materials);
- Coordinates and Plans with the Project Manager primarily and the Client when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and minimum 5 years supervision experience;
- College Education a minimum requirement for carpentry; And;
- Experience in the commercial construction industry a requirement;
- Demonstrated ability in carpentry with minimum of 10 years experience with certification;
- Must hold red seal Carpenter ticket or equivalent certification;
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities;
- Must be able to read and understand construction drawings, addenda, change notices;
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation);
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, and the Mac operating system.
