Our company is looking for a Orion – Specialist, Media Strategy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as client representative and is responsible for delivering on the account management functions between the agency and client(s);
  • Deliver on financial reporting tasks, forecasting and actualizing client activity;
  • Act as an Orion representative to ensure Orion capabilities and offerings are top of mind with client teams;
  • Participate and attend agency training and education programs;
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day client deliverables and prioritization of projects across departments while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery;
  • Prepare, validate and deliver Trade Credit Usage reports to all Orion client teams, both internal as well as external;
  • Liaise with other IPG companies where appropriate;
  • Identify areas of growth and participate in the development and implementation of new diverse solutions aligned to client and agency needs;
  • Identify and improve operational efficiencies and drive operational excellence through effective client and investment processes and approaches;
  • Oversight, evaluation, and tracking of contractual commitments made with media partners.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure;
  • Experience with direct client contact and nurturing a client relationship is an asset;
  • A solid understanding of the media marketplace inclusive of digital;
  • Post secondary education – University graduate or advertising/marketing College degree preferred;
  • Excellent follow-up and communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Proven ability to approach obstacles with creativity and resolve;
  • Organizational skills and strong sense of attention to detail a must;
  • Ability to foster and build cross divisional relationships with clients, colleagues and partners;
  • Demonstrated fiscal management experience and analytical skills, including math proficiency;
  • 2+ years of planning/buying expertise the Media Industry;
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
