Our company is looking for a Office/Production Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Help improve customer communications;
  • Help train production staff in relevant skills (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite);
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers and renegotiate timings as necessary;
  • Assist with production tasks to help meet deadlines;
  • Help deliver on customer expectations, deal with issues that may arise;
  • Distribute jobs to production tasks according to skills and availability;
  • Manage hired equipment availability using equipment roster;
  • Take responsibility for quality control;
  • producing quotes;
  • Maximise efficiency and cost effectiveness of production;
  • Ensure adequate stock of supplies are available;
  • Keep track of the production schedule to ensure all jobs are booked in for production and will be delivered in line with customer expectations;
  • Ensure costs including supplier billing and wastage are controlled.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the print industry, ideally in a digital production capacity;
  • Strong Excel and data management ability (not essential);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • A professional manner with strong customer-facing and problem resolution ability;
  • Experience with VDP software (not essential);
  • Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign).
