Facilities, Food and Beverage Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Facilities, Food and Beverage Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all food signage allergy alerts and television prompts are current and up to date;
- Work with Facility and Catering Teams to create and update the Facilities/ Food and Beverage Wiki for Downtown Toronto;
- Coordinate all Space Management; ensure accurate information is available for internal teams (including reservations required in common areas);
- Partner with headquarters Catering team on the Food and Beverage program to ensure consistency between locations;
- Manage the upkeep of office furniture and oversee new furniture installations;
- Manage the purchasing and delivery of all office supplies as needed by the office staff;
- Assign regular/deep cleaning tasks with property management as required;
- Respond to and manage office related requests, new requests and issues/concerns;
- Work on Geotab’s Green strategy and implement and monitor this program internally and motivate staff to participate;
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Facilities Team at HQ;
- Active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC);
- Manage and coordinate all shipments/couriers for the office;
- Track all facilities related costs, and food and beverage waste and make recommendations for improvements;
- Take weekly inventory of snacks, place orders and input invoices.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Current First Aid and CPR Training;
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions;
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to MS Office, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides);
- Strong time management skills, an effective multi-tasker;
- Able to prioritize while working in a fast paced environment;
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
