Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying and closing new business (and hitting revenue targets);
  • Lead teams of project managers, software developers, graphics designers, application developers and test engineers;
  • Support programs by ensuring predictable SW development planning minimizing technical and schedule risks;
  • Project management;
  • Offering incredible customer service;
  • Develop of Software work orders and schedules;
  • Oversee the release schedules and software architecture;
  • Improve and adapting best SW development practices, processes and tools suitable for ensuring efficiency and quality;
  • Act as a mentor/coach to promote professional and personal development;
  • Packaging professional services and creating new offerings;
  • Build and lead a high-performing team who understands the value of hard work and accountability;
  • Develop the software skills of your group including recruiting of new talent;

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience;
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills (verbal and written) to clients/staff in a professional and technical manner;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field;
  • Software architecture skills and familiarity to modern SW architectures;
  • Ability to train and mentor staff;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and raise early concerns when deadlines are in jeopardy;
  • Experience with graphics frameworks such as Qt, XWindows, OpenGL;
  • Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, etc.);
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Software development and testing, using Linux/QNX, C/C++.
