Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of banquet events, including set-up, service, and breakdown
- Ensure that all banquet team members are properly trained and performing their duties efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met
- Ensure that all food and beverage service is of the highest quality and is presented in a timely and professional manner
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, equipment, and linens
- Assist with developing menus and pricing for events
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any issues or complaints that arise during events
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in banquet service
- Ability to manage and lead a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized banquet room
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as tables and chairs
- Familiarity with event planning and coordination, including set-up and breakdown of banquet events
