Our company is looking for a Environment Lead – IT to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support test cycles through coordinating updates to test environments, including seeding test data, masking of data, builds and code deployments;
  • Help to coordinate trouble shooting of environment specific issues / defects raised during testing;
  • Determine environment requirements and costs to support development, testing, staging, production. (SDLC);
  • Create the production deployment plan and coordinate deployment activities;
  • Work with the IRP Cutover Managers to synchronize End-to-end testing and deployment activities (there will be two mock deployments).

Requirements:

  • Understand complex Linux environment;
  • Must have experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) tools like Jenkins or Bamboo;
  • Must be aware of Legacy code handling written in Cobol, Java 1 & Java 2;
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Have knowledge of Testing best practices;
  • Must be able to support Deployment and Release processes;
  • Support the creation of handover documentation and training to the operational team;
  • Must have Java; Core Java experience of at least 5 Years;
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skills;
  • Must have experience with Build / Release / Version tools;
  • At least 7 Years of experience as DevOps;
  • Experience with developing Reports in the new environment from scratch;
  • Good team player with ability to solve complex tasks and recognize and escalate risks without supervision;
  • At least 3+ Years in building / Configuring / Deploying / Troubleshooting Application Development Environment along with Pre & Postproduction testing;
  • Ability to prioritize work with a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
