Responsibilities:
- Lead the day to day function in support of corporate objectives;
- Protect and elevate Mejuri through transparent and consistent sustainability dialogue;
- Develop team KPI’s and report on them;
- Work cross functionally with business units to ensure company-wide participation;
- Lead global customer strategic projects around sustainability;
- Generate and present annual sustainability reporting;
- Work with the executive team to prioritize initiatives and construct a sustainability roadmap;
- Ensure that business units are familiar with Mejuri’s commitments and obligations to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards;
- Hire and lead required resources to effectively scale our sustainability department.
Requirements:
- Ability to motivate and engage direct and indirect team members and stakeholders;
- Ability to lead cross functional groups through influence and common KPIs;
- 10+ years of experience in an international role preferably in the CPG/Retail sector;
- Self-motivated, independent and results oriented with an analytical mindset;
- Sustainability and Environmental impact analysis knowledge;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with key members of the leadership team;
- English, Native or bilingual proficiency;
- Extensive knowledge of North America business environment, supply chain, market and customers;
- Excellent presentation skills;
