Senior Electrical Integration Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Electrical Integration Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Persons with training and mentoring other employees;
- Other duties as required;
- Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings;
- Ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality;
- Test systems, equipment and components using a variety of tools and equipment;
- Follow direction from Journeymen, Leads and Supervisors;
- Ensure work areas remain clean and well organized;
- Perform integration tasks related to the installation of cabling and equipment.
Requirements:
- Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner continuously;
- This position is not eligible for indenturing under the Apprenticeship and Industry Training program for Electricians;
- Previous experience in steel building/cladding/foam panel erection is considered an asset;
- Continuous standing, walking 50-300 foot distances for long periods of time with only occasional sitting;
- Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs;
- Minimum education level of a High School Diploma is required;
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 50lbs on a regular basis;
- Safety training certificates are an asset for the position;
- Perceiving size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with the fingertips;
- Typing, punching or applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm;
- Using upper extremities to apply or exert a force up to 20 lbs;
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
