Security Integration Tech Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Security Integration Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in system start-up/check-out, commissioning, certification, and related customer training;
- Executes technical aspects of a project, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair following established professional methods;
- Communicates effectively with office, field staff, and customers;
- Maintains high level of customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques and standards; meets project deadlines and budgets;
- Participates as part of construction and service team, makes suggestions for product and installation improvements;
- Maintains technical knowledge regarding the industry and respective field of expertise by attending external and internal training;
- Identifies and communicates risks; complies with all safety protocols and procedures;
- Manages and maintains truck inventory of security products, allocates and re-stocks as necessary;
- Prepares service call reports upon completion of each call, and records customer sign-off. Completes daily/weekly time sheet.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract;
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills;
- Clean criminal record (Canada-Wide);
- knowledge of building codes as asset;
- Good understanding of networking and network structure;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, good initiative, good problem solving skills;
- Class M electrical license (Class M-Alarm or Class M-Data);
- Industry related manufacturer and safety certifications would be beneficial;
- Familiarity with electrified door hardware.
