Refrigeration + AC Mechanic Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Refrigeration + AC Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, quality, cost and other comfort improvements;
- Present findings and options to customers; provide advice and recommendations;
- Troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment, indoor comfort, energy efficiency, and related problems;
- Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry standard times, following proper safety procedures;
- Clean equipment and work area, ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work;
- On call over weekends and after hours as required;
- Perform other duties as assigned;
- Keep assigned service vehicle organized, clean, and stocked properly.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail with a desire and ability to complete the job correctly the first time;
- EPA certified;
- Licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, experience preferred;
- Well groomed, neat appearance;
- Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic;
- Ability to communicate clearly in a friendly, personable way with customers and coworkers;
- Ability to braze/solder/weld;
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
- Able to quickly troubleshoot problems;
- Understands and willing to follow proper safety techniques;
- NATE certification a plus.
