Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Align and calibrate machinery and equipment components to ensure proper function
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment using hand and power tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Document all maintenance and repair activities and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair history
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Millwright
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, motors, and gearboxes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
