Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment in an industrial setting

- Installing and dismantling equipment and machinery, as well as moving heavy parts using cranes and hoists

- Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed, as well as parts used and costs incurred
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the industry to ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment
- Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols in order to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals required.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and rigging and hoisting equipment required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures required.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and to prioritize and manage multiple tasks required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and to travel as required.
