Responsibilities:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities
  • Restock guest room supplies such as drinking glasses, toiletries, and stationery
  • Report any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate department
  • Assist with laundry services as needed
  • Ensure guest privacy and security by properly handling guest room keys
  • Collaborate with other room attendants and housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are cleaned and maintained in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and fellow staff members
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with industry standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
