Our company is looking for a Instructor Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Diligently recording and graphing data;
  • Any other related administration duties as assigned by the Senior Therapist;
  • Delivering direct service in centire-based, home-based, and community-based settings;
  • Documenting progress through detailed notes;
  • Maintain client confidentiality;
  • Model and maintain a high standard of professionalism, work ethic, flexibility and problem-solving;
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of ABA Connections;
  • Adhere to privacy laws including, but not limited to PIPEDA and PHIPA;
  • Abide by the ethical code as indicated by the Behavior Analysts Certification Board.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working as an Instructor Therapist or in an ABA setting;
  • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or working towards RBT certification;
  • Availability on Saturday mornings;
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certificate;
  • Valid licence to drive in Ontario, access to a vehicle and willing to travel across the Greater Toronto Area;
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team player skills;
  • Recent Police Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months);
  • Experience implementing ABA teaching strategies with children and adolescents with autism, learning disabilities and related exceptionalism.
