Our company is looking for a Family Medicine Physician/General Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned;
- Establish and maintain a full time community based practice within the community;
- Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities;
- Provide call support as per call schedules, including full time participation in the Emergency Department and other call schedules as required;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of Barrhead;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of Fort Vermilion;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of La Crete;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of High Level;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of Wabasca;
- Interest in Leadership;
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence, St. Paul;
- Provision of extended hour (including evenings & weekends) of comprehensive care within the base community.
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS);
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS);
- CCFP (desired);
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) (desired);
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (desired);
- Emergency Room Experience (Required);
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS);
- CCFP-EM (desired);
- CCFP-Emergency;
- Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) (desired);
- MOREOB/Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM) (desired);
- CCFP;
- Basic Obstetrical Skills desired;
- Must have current rural experience;
- Must have current rural experience (1-2 years).
