Laundry Attendants manage the washing, drying, and folding of clothes and linens. Key responsibilities include operating laundry machines, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely delivery of laundry services.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate laundry according to fabric types, colors, and washing instructions
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment
- Measure and add detergent and fabric softener to each load of laundry
- Fold, stack, and store clean laundry in designated areas
- Inspect and report any damages or stains on laundry items
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels
- Keep track of inventory and alert supervisor when supplies need to be restocked
- Provide excellent customer service to guests who have special laundry requests or concerns
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with different types of laundry equipment and detergents

- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred
