Our company is looking for a Cook to join our team.


  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets;
  • Prepare morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for up to 120 children, following pre-set menus;
  • Prepare and cook individual dishes or entire meals as per menu or order;
  • Prepare food products as instructed by Head Chef;
  • Prepare and cook complete meals, menu items or individual dishes and foods for Boston Pizza;
  • Prepare and cook complete meals, menu items or individual dishes and foods such as pizza, salads, wings, breads, desserts etc;
  • Follow sanitary and safe food handling practices and to inspect food preparation areas and serving areas;
  • Coordinates the efforts of others in accomplishing simple tasks, and assists subordinates in successfully accomplishing tasks;
  • Related duties as assigned by the Manager;
  • Cleaning the dishes;
  • Order and keep track food supply and inventory;
  • Multi-task: complete multiple orders at once;
  • Cook items in accordance standards;
  • Prepare and cook special meals for orders as instructed by chef;
  • Create, manage, and monitor weekly schedules and shifts for kitchen staffs; make adjustment when necessary.


  • Completion of secondary school is usually required;
  • Culinary school diploma an asset;
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time;
  • Ability to work in kitchen for extended hours;
  • Supervise and schedule kitchen staff and helpers;
  • Passion for culinary arts;
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures;
  • Ability to work on all shift’s morning, day, evening, night & weekends;
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks;
  • Must have completed high school;
  • have good knowledge of Holy Grill menu offerings, recipes and cooking styles;
  • Previous culinary experience; Red Seal certification and/or related education preferred;
  • ability to work well in a fast paced restaurant environment, under time pressure;
  • Several years’ experience of food preparation in commercial environment;
  • Valid Food Safety Certificate.
