Our company is looking for a Cook 2 to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring food quality during food preparation;
  • Washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables;
  • Preparing and cooking food according to quality standards;
  • Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers;
  • Perform other duties as assigned;
  • Preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping and storing food;
  • Setting up and breaking down work stations.

Requirements:

  • Food Safe certification required;
  • High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent;
  • Frequent bending, standing and walking for extended periods of time required;
  • One year of experience as a 3rd cook in a hotel or restaurant;
  • Fluent English language skills;
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance;
  • Good understanding of restaurant, room service and banquet procedures.
