Responsibilities:
- Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations;
- Receiving, stocking and merchandising of floral products;
- Wrap product for display and final sale;
- Design and arrangement for customers based on their specifications;
- Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card, gift card and debit;
- Prepare gift baskets and special orders;
- Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Safeway’s programs;
- Maintenance of inventory of fresh and potted product;
- Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.
Requirements:
- Possess knowledge of general plant care;
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Available to work flexible hours;
- Highly motivated and team oriented;
- Must be available to be scheduled anytime on Sunday (Alberta Only);
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Evening and weekend availability is strongly encouraged;
- Possess strong customer service qualities;
- Works in a safe and responsible manner.
