Farm Machinery Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Farm Machinery Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Clean working areas;
- Operate all cleaning equipment;
- Work in Farm Operations area as assigned;
- Other associated duties;
- Wear Protective equipment (safety shoes, respirators,gloves,etc.)as required;
- Report any problems with equipment and all safety concerns to Supervisor;
- Operate materials handling machinery such as tractors, forklifts and front end loaders;
- Inspect Machines daily and report any deviations;
- Operate and clean compost blending, filling, casing and spawning machinery (tunnels, nets, floors, etc.);
- Maintain working area in clean condition;
- Report any changes of compost consistency i.e dry/wet to Manger;
- Replace filters as needed.
Requirements:
- Safety conscious; ability to follow Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations;
- Ability to lift 10-50lbs;
- Ability to work independently;
- Flexibility to work varying shift;
- Ability to trouble shoot issues as they arise;
- Capable of crouching, reaching, stretching, bending and standing for a long periods comfortably, performing repetitive motion.
