The Worship Director oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of worship services. They are responsible for selecting music, guiding rehearsals, and enhancing the overall worship experience. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the music ministry of the church
  • Coordinate and schedule all music rehearsals and worship services
  • Select appropriate music and worship songs for each service

  • Ensure that the sound and lighting systems are properly set up and functioning
  • Collaborate with the pastoral staff to plan and execute worship services

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in playing at least one instrument and leading worship music
  • Knowledge of music theory and ability to read sheet music
  • Ability to lead a team of musicians and vocalists
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with senior pastors and creative team
  • Familiarity with audio and visual equipment commonly used in worship services
  • Understanding of Biblical worship principles and ability to incorporate them in worship services
