SAT Reading/Writing teachers Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a SAT Reading/Writing teachers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative and team based activities as needed;
- Assess students upon entrance and develop plans for them;
- Work closely with Center Program Director to meet students’ academic goals;
- Keep detailed records of tutoring sessions using SpAce Progress Card;
- Tutor tailored SAT courses based on the student level and needs;
- Develop SAT Prep Materials as needed.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills;
- No teacher certification required;
- AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects preferred (English, Humanities, Math, and/or Science);
- High SAT or ACT scores preferred. We’re looking for teachers who can score at or above the 95 percentile;
- Must have at least 1 year experience in tutoring SAT or AP literature-related subjects;
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required;
- Friendly, patient, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population.
