Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing codes to plan plumbing installations.
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures such as water, gas and drainage systems.
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers and architects to ensure project success.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plumbing systems and provide solutions to fix them.
- Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is in compliance with local and national plumbing codes.
- Keep accurate records of all plumbing-related activities and maintain inventory of plumbing supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about plumbing issues and solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and components, including installation and repair procedures
- Ability to interpret blueprints and building codes
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid plumbing license and/or certification
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
