Hardwood Floor Covering Installers Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Hardwood Floor Covering Installers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor new workers on the job, if necessary;
- Cut and fasten underlay, underpadding and sheeting;
- Cater to clients who need floor repair or renovation services due to damaged floor coverings;
- Conduct moisture, PH and climate testing prior to installation;
- Prepare hardwood materials and floor boards for the installation;
- Clean up after job completion and ensure all invoices are signed by customer;
- Consult with clients with regards to design, materials, and costs associated with the project;
- Install transitions and intricate patterns as per customer requests;
- Prepare and mark targeted surfaces;
- Lift and remove existing hardwood and/or other flooring materials on premises;
- Conduct post-installation maintenance;
- Clean flooring prior to any installation, and if applicable, suggest any levelling of floor surfaces;
- Initial assessment of floor premises to ensure that floor condition can withstand the process.
Requirements:
- European wood materials such as Admonter, Dilegno, Trapa, Biehrer, Hakwood, Monarch Plank,
- At least 3+ years of experience in hardwood floor installation with experience in the following: low VOC finishes, WOCA oils, Rubio monocoat.
