Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
  • Adjust and align precast units and anchor them with clamps, bolts, and dowels.
  • Use various hand and power tools to smooth out surfaces and ensure a level finish.
  • Apply sealants or other protective coatings to surfaces as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete carpentry
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and grinders
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to concrete work
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in variable weather conditions
