An Apprentice Carpenter assists in crafting wooden structures under the guidance of a skilled carpenter. Responsibilities include learning trade skills, handling tools, and performing tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in measuring and cutting materials to the required specifications
- Assist in assembling and joining materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Help in fitting and installing windows, frames, floorings, and fixtures
- Assist in interpreting blueprints and following instructions from supervisors and senior carpenters
- Keep the work area clean and organized
