Sr. Pricing & Contract Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Pricing & Contract Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures coordination with Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters as relevant;
- Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closures;
- Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards;
- Is a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand sales issues;
- Assist sales and support staff in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and drive for improvements;
- Maintain complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary;
- Advises sales on objection handling techniques, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures;
- Review of proposal details to ensure compliance to company policies, GPO’s terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Word including track changes and doc compare is required;
- Must be self-motivated and flexible;
- Paralegal skills are a plus;
- Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards;
- Must be a Team Player;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system is favorable;
- Must possess strong analytical skills and pay attention to details while ensuring accuracy;
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand terms and conditions of a contract required for proper administration and compliance;
- Strong level of ownership and drive for meeting / exceeding expectations is required;
- Drive to understand the products and offerings, strategies and business objectives is required;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks;
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment are required;
- Ability to see the big picture.
