Sr. Business Systems Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of content piracy lifecycle, from a cyber threat landscape;
- Special projects and other duties as assigned;
- Represent project stakeholders throughout project delivery;
- Provide implementation support and assist with post implementation support;
- Conduct project review sessions, obtain sign offs, and coordinate acceptance tests to ensure timely delivery of requirements;
- Provide excellent cross-organizational communications and subject matter expertise;
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as Legal/Regulatory, Network Engineering, IT, Product teams;
- Familiarity with Sandvine, or Sandvine scripting;
- Translate large amounts of data into meaningful reports including aggregated consumption data;
- Gather key risk indicators signalling trends;
- Review the technical design, development and implementation plan and vendor statement of work for assigned projects.
Requirements:

- Assess client needs and recommend the right technology; and;
- Offer operational and process-related analysis and support;
- Proactive, organized, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodology;
- Works well independently, as well as, within a team;
- Ability to work as part of a team and work under own initiative;
- Familiar with Microstrategy, Splunk, Sandvine, Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau;
- Exposure to legal affairs with an emphasis on television and/or non-linear content;
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism and discretion with sensitivity in handling confidential information;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to assess contractual terms, to evaluate and communicate impact and recommend alternatives;
- 5 years of business systems analyst experience;
- Experience in delivering quality solutions under pressure of tight deadlines.
