Software Developer (PHP) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Developer (PHP) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce code that can support and withstand millions of users;
- Contributing to the creation of internal libraries, reusable resources, and processes;
- Work within the existing product code to improve our product;
- Write addons and implement customizations for our clients;
- Work with technical support and directly with clients to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- MySQL scaling and performance challenges;
- OAuth2, SAML, and/or JWT;
- Experience consuming content from RESTful APIs from both the front and backend;
- Knowledge of Web technologies and browser compatibility challenges;
- 2+ years professional experience with PHP and MySQL (or similar database);
- Identifying and prioritizing accessibility and usability issues;
- 3+ years professional developer experience;
- Using or moderating online discussion forums;
- 1+ years recent experience with Javascript, HTML & CSS;
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
- Accessibility design and testing;
- Data migrations;
- React or similar front end frameworks;
- Compiled CSS (e.g. Sass) and CSS methodologies;
- High-fluency written & verbal English language skills.
