An Oracle EBS Developer designs, develops, and implements Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software, ensuring optimal system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Oracle EBS applications using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and other programming languages as required.
  • Work with business analysts and users to gather functional and technical requirements for Oracle EBS application development.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, forms, and interfaces within Oracle EBS using Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and Workflow Builder.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle EBS extensions and customizations using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) or Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with other developers, database administrators, and IT staff to ensure that all Oracle EBS applications are integrated with other systems and that data is shared and managed effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS applications, including performance issues, data integrity issues, and system errors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle EBS technologies and development tools, and provide recommendations for improvements to existing systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle EBS development
  • Strong knowledge and experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
  • Experience in developing customizations, extensions, and interfaces in Oracle EBS modules
  • Excellent understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and data models
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Oracle EBS applications
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
