Accesibility Software Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Accesibility Software Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in software and systems migration, including on-site and remote technical assistance;
- Conduct Web Content Accessibility Testing as per Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG);
- Serve as lead technical engineer in case of escalated client issues;
- Develop test automation scripts using various frameworks;
- Develop and oversee automated and manual software test plans and systems efforts in order to properly recommend improved performance approaches;
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during and after implementation of new adaptive software;
- Carry out routine accessibility testing for various software prior to being released for production;
- Conduct software and systems integrations to ensure that operating system meet and support user requirements;
- Prepare weekly routine project reports, including delivery updates and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 4 plus years of experience working with accessibility and assistive application technologies;
- 4 plus years of experience in working with following servers and operating systems: Unix, Linux, Mac, and Windows;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineer, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
