Vancouver Epicenter Leader Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Vancouver Epicenter Leader to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- You drive sell-through activation, consumer engagement, and consumer experience in the defined Epicenters;
- You establish objectives for the epicenter and plans to achieve them, then implement them through specific targets for each team;
- You are responsible for the financial performance of your city – You must deliver annual sales and margin (PGP) with a keen eye on OPEX performance;
- You manage retail operations for retail stores in your city (Epicenter);
- You build a community of Arc’teryx advocates in your city through leadership of Community Marketing Managers;
- You foster a Consumer Centric approach, with a “Consumer First” and “Retail” mindset;
- You collaborate with other city (Epicenter) leaders on best practices in Epicenters;
- You look for new business opportunities and partnerships and seek appropriate points of distribution as well as potential non-profit partnerships;
- You provide exceptional leadership to your Epicenter city team.
Requirements:
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it;
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives;
- You have 7+ years of experience of related experience, specifically with exceptional people leadership and best in class retail operations;
- You drive a culture of learning and self-leadership;
- You are a strong communicator in both written and verbal formats and can formulate and articulate strategies and concepts;
- You are a strong advisor with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at a global level;
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration;
- Interest or involvement in activities for which we make products;
- You have led retail operations, and understand the requirements for retail success;
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right;
- You are excellent at public speaking and can deliver necessary messages in an engaging way;
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement;
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions;
