Learning and Development Consultants strategize, design, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. They assess organizational needs, develop tailored training modules, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs, including e-learning courses and knowledge assessments
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs within the organization
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and deliver effective training programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics and feedback from participants and managers
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities
  • Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure that training records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors to ensure a variety of training options are available to employees

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a learning and development consultant or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of learning and development best practices, including e-learning platforms and instructional design principles.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
