Junior Technical Recruiter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior Technical Recruiter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of internship requests and placements across the organization;
- Generate pipelines of qualified candidates for all open positions;
- Participate in proactive recruitment strategies as directed by the Technical Talent Lead;
- Develop understanding of, and clearly communicate, roles, requirements, and growth plans of assigned internal teams to candidates;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Conduct resume and phone screens;
- Promote and embody our culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency;
- Schedule interviews and follow ups with candidates;
- Involvement in offsite, off hour events to support recruitment – internally and externally;
- Draft and publish job postings.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a high volume recruitment role; Technical Recruitment would be considered an asset;
- Ability and desire to be highly engaged in your work, and to expect to be involved outside of the 9-5;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities;
- Passion for the Tech Ecosystem in Toronto;
- Bachelor’s degree; specialization in Human Resources or Engineering is an asset;
- Exceptional team player – you have a passion for connecting teams to one another;
- High EQ – you will be the first contact for potential candidates.
