Our company is looking for a Junior Technical Recruiter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of internship requests and placements across the organization;
  • Generate pipelines of qualified candidates for all open positions;
  • Participate in proactive recruitment strategies as directed by the Technical Talent Lead;
  • Develop understanding of, and clearly communicate, roles, requirements, and growth plans of assigned internal teams to candidates;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Conduct resume and phone screens;
  • Promote and embody our culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency;
  • Schedule interviews and follow ups with candidates;
  • Involvement in offsite, off hour events to support recruitment – internally and externally;
  • Draft and publish job postings.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a high volume recruitment role; Technical Recruitment would be considered an asset;
  • Ability and desire to be highly engaged in your work, and to expect to be involved outside of the 9-5;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities;
  • Passion for the Tech Ecosystem in Toronto;
  • Bachelor’s degree; specialization in Human Resources or Engineering is an asset;
  • Exceptional team player – you have a passion for connecting teams to one another;
  • High EQ – you will be the first contact for potential candidates.
