Business Analyst, Property Management Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Analyst, Property Management to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives;
- Project manage global expansion initiatives with respect to property;
- Provide oversight of all co-working locations, get internal approval for expansion of all co-working contracts;
- Coordinate with Facilities, Operations and Legal Teams working holistically on leasing deal projections and analyses;
- Assist in global portfolio valuation and IFRS reporting;
- Consolidate property budgets and forecasts with current market data;
- Assist with the implementation and administration of negotiating new and existing leases, licenses and agreements for Geotab’s global portfolios;
- Provide expert project leadership and guidance to the Finance Team as SME;
- Maintain and update portfolio information in property management software for all properties;
- Negotiate routine acquisitions/dispositions of properties.
Requirements:
- Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience using property portfolio/management software;
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail;
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides);
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization;
- Analytical mentality with an ability to apply logic and reasoning to complex financial, legal and contractual challenges;
- Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands;
- Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Commerce or a related field highly valued;
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization;
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries;
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
