Allocator/Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Allocator/Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- You analyze store level inventory and sales to determine trends and maximize sales opportunities on a weekly basis;
- You identify and highlight any concerns in inventory levels as soon as it is discovered and investigate into options to solve the problem;
- You work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and the brand stores/outlets to provide insight into retail functions and processes;
- You help identify regional shortages and overages for the Open To Buy process;
- You may be required to travel for store visits;
- You work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide insight into retail functions and processes;
- You identify issues and gaps in process and supports the team to help find resolutions;
- You work closely with the stores/outlets to ensure they are aware of product flow, replenishment flow and any deviation or changes to the plan;
- You assist with preparation of management reports and historical re-caps to analyze and communicate business performance;
- You make recommendations on store level product based on sales data and store feedback;
- You oversee the communication and administration of third party product orders;
- You liaise with the warehouse, stores and merchandising teams to help coordinate smooth integration of replenishment and seasonal product drops;
- You support the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectives.

- You have strong data analysis skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- You thrive in a fast-past, ever changing retail environment.
