Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VFX team to ensure visual effects are seamlessly integrated into the final product
  • Work with the director and editor to understand the creative vision and intention of each shot and sequence
  • Ensure consistency in visual effects across the entire project
  • Use software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and Maya to create and edit visual effects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met
  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each visual effects shot or sequence
  • Manage and organize files, assets, and render outputs to maintain project efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proficient in industry-standard VFX software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Maya.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Familiarity with color correction, compositing, and motion graphics.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Ability to understand and interpret storyboards and client briefs.
  • Experience in creating visual effects for film, television, or advertising.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation is a plus.
