Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VFX team to ensure visual effects are seamlessly integrated into the final product
- Work with the director and editor to understand the creative vision and intention of each shot and sequence
- Ensure consistency in visual effects across the entire project
- Use software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and Maya to create and edit visual effects
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each visual effects shot or sequence
- Manage and organize files, assets, and render outputs to maintain project efficiency
Requirements:
- Proficient in industry-standard VFX software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Maya.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Familiarity with color correction, compositing, and motion graphics.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to understand and interpret storyboards and client briefs.
- Experience in creating visual effects for film, television, or advertising.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation is a plus.
