Junior User Experience Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior User Experience Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides all detailed UX design specifications to the User Experience Designer including images, design mock-ups, logos, etc;
- Assistance in UX research, planning, and design concepts;
- Tests websites to ensure design standards are met and functionality is as expected;
- Assists in reviewing changes to the Conestoga College corporate website to ensure quality assurance standards are met before moving to production;
- Designs graphics and manipulates digital photographs for maximum impact;
- Digital content creation including the gathering of digital assets for website use;
- Develops designs into HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and HTML5 working templates;
- Researches current design trends on a regular basis;
- Assists in maintaining site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards.
Requirements:
- Experience with SEO, Web analytics, and Social Media platforms is considered an asset;
- Ability to multi-task and remain composed in high pressure situations;
- Two year Diploma in Web Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design or a related field;
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction;
- Flexible and adaptive to feedback;
- Team player who is results-oriented and dedicated to team success;
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively;
- High level of attention to detail.
